Certified Homes

hōmhub Certified

How It Works

Step 1:

Claim Your Home

To begin, a seller or homeowner must claim their home on hōmhub. This establishes ownership and gives the homeowner control over their digital real estate asset.

Step 2:

Verify Ownership

To confirm ownership, the homeowner must upload a government-issued Driver's License. This information is never shared with buyers, agents, or third parties and is used strictly for identity and ownership verification purposes within hōmhub.

Step 3:

Upload Home Documents

Once ownership is verified, the homeowner uploads key home documents. These documents provide transparency and help buyers make better-informed decisions earlier in the process.

Step 4:

Generate a HomeTrace Report (Powered by hōmhub)

After documents are uploaded, hōmhub creates a HomeTrace Report. This is a comprehensive property history report similar to CarFax for cars, but made for homes.

The HomeTrace Report includes key property details, document history, and insights that help buyers evaluate homes more efficiently.

Step 5:

Certified Home Badge Appears

Once the certified criteria is met, the home receives a Certified Home badge on hōmhub.

This badge increases visibility and signals to buyers that the seller is organized, transparent, and prepared.

Step 6:

Improved Visibility and Filtering

Certified Homes gain premium visibility and can be filtered by buyers looking specifically for verified, transparent listings.

  • Searchable by buyers using a Certified Home filter.
  • Featured at the top of search results when the home is actively for sale.
  • Highlighted at no additional cost to the seller.

This enhanced visibility attracts more serious and informed buyers.

Step 7:

Buyer Access to Documents and HomeTrace Report

Potential buyers may request access to a Certified Home's documents by paying a document access fee to hōmhub. This fee covers secure document processing, storage, and access.

Once access is granted, buyers will:

  • Receive the HomeTrace Report powered by hōmhub, a comprehensive property history report similar in concept to a CarFax for vehicles, but designed specifically for homes.
  • Be able to download the documents directly to their device.
  • Be able to email the documents to themselves for personal review, professional consultation, or future reference.

This ensures buyers can use the information efficiently while maintaining secure access controls.
